About the consultancy

Welcome to R&K Wood Planning Consultancy. The consultancy is based on many years extensive experience working within the planning field. As chartered town planners and Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute, our practice partners Robin and Katie Wood previously worked as senior planning officers in local authority planning departments and as consultants within a large multi disciplinary planning and environmental practice.

Since its creation the consultancy has expanded both the types and location of work carried out. Today we operate throughout the north of England with clients in Northumberland, Newcastle upon Tyne, the wider Tyneside area, Cumbria and Lancashire.

R&K Wood Planning Consultancy is also appointed as a specialist planning adviser in the Rural Planning Facilitation Service operated by Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency.
